Pseudo Vacation

Standing in Vivian & Mike's wedding this weekend In NYC. I feel like I haven't taken this many days off since my own wedding/honeymoon.

I must say, I had a really pleasant experience heading to Midway this morning. Left the house around 9am, walked LEISURELY to the Orange Line, got on the train, walked LEISURELY to the terminal, went through security, grabbed a blueberry muffin for breakfast to eat on the plane, walked LEISURELY to gate B26 (that's the LAST gate in terminal B, FYI), and right when I got there, they had just begun boarding my row. Perfect timing. Just the way I like it.

Anyway, watching "The OC" & blogging in the hotel room while waiting for the wedding Sweat Shop to begin. It's going to be a long night... Kinda wish I was playing volleyball actually. Gee, what kind of alternate universe is this??

Tomorrow, I get to see my hubbers AND have Korean food. Yay!

Quick and Random

Been an extremely gluttonous weekend. Tummy not so comfy...

Cheers to cute babies (and props to their parents).
Jeers to ugly church politics and sinful nature of man. It saddens me.

But without sin, how will we ever know the sweetness of His amazing grace?

Happy 6 Month Anniversary to Us!!

That's 183 days of blissful marriage.
And I only saw my husband 50 days out of 183. 27% of the time. But who's counting right?

So I wonder, how much longer can we still be called "newlyweds?"

And it was delicious!! (Red Velvet, Italian Cream and Chocolate, if you must know)

Jam Packed Weekend

Recovering from a long weekend in suburban Dallas, a.k.a. land of giant SUVs, big parking spaces, and 80-degree weather in April! I don't know if I've really been away that long, but all of a sudden, the (Southern) accent seems really noticeable to me now.

Anyway, I finally got to see my hubbers since mid-February. Yay!

We attended our first wedding since we got married - opener to Wedding Season 2006. Let the "I Do's" begin!!

Mr. & Mrs. Justin Hung

Poor Bryan has his name misspelled again. (Don't feel bad Just, it happens all the time.)

Haven't seen some of these people since college. We all look old now. Sad.

And then on Sunday afternoon, Vivian had her Bridal Shower. Good times.

So that was the whirlwind weekend. Next time I go to Dallas, I just want to hang with all the people I love, visit all the new babies and not have to attend anything. Yeah.

The whole world (well, in the office) is at the Cubs Opening Day except for me and my boss and my boss' boss. Fun.

Meanwhile, I'm overwhelmed by a feeling of inadequacy at work. I have no one to blame except for my own laziness and tendency to procrastinate. I know God has given me the ability to be here, and my only purpose is to honor and glorify Him everything that I do. Instead, I think I've been embarrassing Him.

Bad Day! I Hate "Spring Forward!"

Losing an hour of sleep really stinks. I am so tired right now. If I close my eyes, I may fall asleep here right in front of my computer. Granted, staying up to finish the rain-delayed White Sox game on top of the Spring Forward lack of sleep does not help anybody.

And, it feels nothing like spring outside. After 19 months, I still don't know how to dress properly for the weather here. I always seem to wear the wrong thing. Today, I'm freezing. Last week, I was sweating. And the weather people either always lie or have very poor weather predicting equipments.

I still love snow! But I think my open toe shoes are calling my name...
